Update: After three months of trying to put a CAPS website, blog, groups, googlebook, paypal, and others - this googleblog is developing; it 's not complete. More is needed to be learned like how to upload from my writing files to this blog, and from the Internet to this blog. Here goes an attempt to drag and drop a piece from AOL Message Boards -- Lawmaker Under Fire for Slavery Comment -- Re: about DAM. One response is from Ray and is a Prison Slavery rebuttal to the Virgina legislators' statement that blacks should "get over slavery" rather than apologize for slavery. This article has a number of great contributions, and it exposes a lack of knowledge by racist support entries of the Virginia Legislator.

My further contribution at this time is the simple reality that war and poverty is singularly, and are in combination, institution(s) of slavery. Therefore, poor folks have multiple levels of relative slavery and freedom. Poor white folks are too ashamed to admit that they are in dire need similar to slavery, but not slavery because that was a condition reserved only for blacks in this country. As we know, that assumption has a no or incorrect knowledge base. So, a lack of knowledge base keeps poor whites in slavery and prohibits their unity with poor blacks against our mutual oppression - slavery.

Recent passage of HB for a raised Minimum Wage of $7.25, is unbeknown to most an Abolitionist piece of legislation as it directly affects the lives of approximately one hundred million people in the next 5 years (my guesstamate). It will help to liberate low income slaves to a higher level of survival. It is not emancipative nor is it liberating, rather it is necessary for continued survival, and it is hopeful. We need another such increase in minimum wage (I would say in 30 seconds) and hopefully it will come in the next 2 or 3 years. That's just not fair.
